I absolutely loved the Mastering Performance Feedback class. In my opinion anyone that has to provide performance feedback should take that class. I found myself wishing that Jamie’s class was offered back when I was in the management training program. I’m a visual person and Jamie does a fantastic job utilizing visual tools to identify the different types of employees we might have. Furthermore, she illustrates how the overall performance of the employee you’re talking with will affect the flow of the conversation as it relates to the review process.I thoroughly enjoyed her class because it was exactly what I needed. As a new manager I was trained to be well versed in many different aspects of my job. On the other hand, my main concern was how I facilitate these difficult conversations when they’re necessary. Jamie’s class answered all of my questions and displayed them in such a manner that even I was able to understand. I feel that I have gained new techniques and approaches that I will use throughout the rest of my career.
